Morgan is an Indianapolis-based writer and painter. Her creative practice is a space for her to seek connection to herself and to the natural world. Morgan is exploring the overlap of written and visual mediums, often seeing the paintings as works of fiction. Morgan’s creative practice is an internally driven process that is then translated to the external by scraping and layering paint over long periods of time. This becomes a means of meditating on nature and its ever-changing state. Her work explores themes of time, transformation, decomposing and regenerative energies, and the power of nature as a guiding force.
